Yes! BedMate is completely free with no hidden fees, premium tiers, or paywalls. All features are available to all users at no cost.
No! BedMate values your privacy. You can choose any username you like - real names are not required or encouraged.
BedMate matches you with users based on three criteria:
Regular users can set a search radius up to 68 km (42 miles). Administrators may have extended range for moderation purposes.
Yes! Go to Profile → Location Settings. You can either use GPS auto-detection or manually select your country, province/state, city, and district.
MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) identifies 16 personality types based on four dimensions. Enneagram categorizes personalities into 9 core types. Both help us match you with psychologically compatible partners.
Possible reasons: (1) Your search radius is too small - try increasing it, (2) Not many users in your area yet - we're growing daily!, (3) You've already seen all available matches - check back later as new users join.
BedMate protects your privacy through: anonymous usernames, optional contact sharing (you control when to reveal contact info), location approximation (only city/district level shown), and secure data encryption (HTTPS/TLS).
In the Match page, click on a user's profile to open the detail popup, then click the "Block" button. Blocked users cannot see your profile or match with you.
Yes! Blocked users appear in your match list with a "Blocked" tag. Click on them and select "Unblock" to restore access.
Click on the user's profile → Report button. Select a reason (spam, harassment, inappropriate content, fake profile, etc.) and submit. Our moderation team will review within 24 hours.
Reports are reviewed by our team. Depending on severity, actions may include warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent ban. You'll be notified of the outcome.
Go to Profile → Basic Information → Click on your username to edit it. Changes are saved instantly.
Yes! Click the gender icon (♀ or ♂) next to your username on the Profile page. Note: You'll need to select a new avatar after changing gender.
Click on your avatar in the Profile page. You'll see 4 avatar options for your gender - select your favorite!
Profile → Personality Types → Click "Retake Test" or manually select your MBTI and Enneagram type if you already know them.
Profile → Basic Information → "Modify Contact Information" button. You can add/update LINE, QQ, WeChat, Telegram, WhatsApp, or custom contact methods.
Contact us via our Contact page with your account email. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Message Bottles are anonymous messages you can send into the "ocean." Other users can pick them up randomly, creating serendipitous connections.
Go to the Bottle page → Write your message → "Throw Bottle." Your message will be available for others to discover.
Yes! Only your username and basic info are shown. You decide if/when to share more personal contact information.
Unopened bottles expire after 7 days. Once opened, they remain in your inbox until you delete them or they auto-delete after 30 days.
Try: (1) Clear your browser cache and cookies, (2) Use an incognito/private window, (3) Try a different browser, (4) Check your internet connection, (5) Contact support if the issue persists.
Enable location permissions in your browser settings, or use Manual Selection mode to enter your location manually.
